Operation Report 2019 – Week #16

Operation reports are summary of what happened in Joint forces operation zone (previously known as Anti-Terrorist Operation zone or ATO) during the last week. 

Casualties

April 15, 2019

  • Volkov Mykola (8th battalion of Ukrainian Volunteer Army) a medic. On April 10, he was seriously injured by an enemy sniper and transferred to Dnipro hospital in critical condition. He died on April 15.

Military

Azov Regiment shells enemy positions

Azov regiment released drone footage of shelling enemy positions and destroying one BMP.

The look from the other side

Pro-Russian forces released a video showing their position near Butovka Mine, Donetsk Region. The camera crew comes under fire at 1:32.

Pro-Russian forces released several prisoners

On April 22, Pro-Russian forces located in Luhansk Region handled 60 prisoners to Ukraine. The transfer happened near Shchastya, Luhansk Region.
